On stipend delay:VM Rodriguez advises city scholars to visit scholarship office

 Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez urged city scholars to visit the City Scholarships Office to follow up on the status and know the reasons behind the delay of their stipend.

She made the advice following the clarification by Councilor Suzette Magtajas-Daba, Chairperson of the Committee on Education, that late grade submission is the common cause for the delayed release of allowances to the scholars. The submission of grades is a requirement for the City Accounting Office to process and release their stipend.

Her explanation came in response to Councilor Imee Moreno's special report highlighting.

Vice Mayor Rodriguez advised Councilor Imee Moreno who made the special report on the delayed city scholars stipend, to gather the names of these students and forward them to the City Scholarships Office so that they can be attended to properly.
