Nazareth honors Cong. Rodriguez for infrastructure boost

THE City Council committee on Barangay Affairs, chaired by Councilor Yan Lam S. Lim, is set to deliberate the resolution passed by the Sangguniang Barangay of Nazareth expressing deep gratitude and appreciation to Congressman Rufus B. Rodriguez for his significant contributions to the barangay’s development through various infrastructure projects in 2024.

The resolution highlights Congressman Rodriguez’s steadfast commitment to the community since 2007, ensuring continued progress through strategic resource allocation for infrastructure, social, and economic development projects.

Among the key initiatives completed under his leadership are the improvement of Demetrio Velez Street and its drainage system, the renovation of the Barangay Nazareth Gym and Lupon Office, and the installation of 72 solar-powered streetlights in areas such as Sitios 31st, Nazareno, San Jose, YGO, and 15th–26th, among others.

Recognizing his pivotal role in Barangay Nazareth’s development, the barangay council cited Congressman Rodriguez's dedication and proactive leadership have prioritized nearly all major infrastructure projects in the area.
