Moreno participates in anti-child labor, OSAEC workshop
COUNCILOR Imee Rose Moreno recently participated in a two-day orientation-workshop on child labor and Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation (OSAEC) held on July 25-26, 2024, at the Chali Resort and Conference Center.
The initiative, joined by representatives from youth organizations, private institutions, and government agencies, aligns with the observance of World Day Against Trafficking (WDAT) every, July 30, to raise awareness about human trafficking and advocate for the rights of trafficked victims.
Councilor Moreno extended her gratitude to the World Vision Philippines, particularly Project ACE, for organizing the event and for their ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships in addressing worst forms of child labor (WFCL), including OSAEC, and violations of acceptable conditions of work.
The event was attended by the presence of World Vision's Project ACE Manager Ms. Anita T. Garcia, Project Director Ms. Daphne DG Culanag, and Chief Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 10 PCOL Lemuel B. Gonda.
