Moreno hails women, mothers

Councilor Imee P. Moreno, chair of the City Council committee on women and family relations, delivered her closing remarks during the program as part of the Women’s Day Celebration.

The 2023 National Women’s Month celebration in the City kicked off with a mass at the Saint Augustine Cathedral last March 8, 2023, followed by a motorcade then Zumba dance for all at Gaston Park.

Councilor Moreno expressed very inspiring words that all women are strong, relentless and courageous. There are superwomen who always face the challenges in life, the balance in raising children, working hard and some are doing business but still they can handle everything in life with determination. She greeted all mothers who do and give everything for their children, “A happy Women’s Month!”
