More CSO accreditation up for review

The City Council Committee on Planning, Research and Innovation and People’s Organization Accreditation, chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, is set to review the application for accreditation of five Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to become members of the Committee on People’s Organization of the City Development Council (CDC).

These include the Barangay Indahag Community Farmers Association (BICFA), Villamar Subdivision Homeowners Association, Inc.; Cogon Agora Motorela Operators and Drivers Association (CAMODA); Deaf Association of Misamis Oriental (DAMOR), Inc.; and Tignapoloan Environmental Conservation and Communal Garden Association (TECCGA). These CSOs aim to promote public interest especially among the disadvantaged sectors of society such as farmer-peasant, artisanal fisher folk, workers in the formal sector and migrant workers, among others.
