Monitoring of gasoline prices will continue – Goking
CITY COUNCILOR George S. Goking said he will continue to monitor the prices of gasoline in the city.
The councilor noted that any increase will also trigger increases in the prices of basic commodities.
“One of the elements that cause the domino effect of high prices is gasoline and other petroleum products,” he cited.
As he tackles issues and concerns affecting businesses, the councilor said there should be a balance in the move to protect businessmen and the consuming public as the Covid 19 pandemic continues to threaten the city’s health and economy.
This time we need the cooperation of the people for us to survive, he stressed.
