Medical, law scholars to receive allowance from city government
TWO medical and nine law scholars may already receive their back stipend amounting to ₱5,500.00 each per month from the city government.
This, as the 20th City Council, during its regular session presided over by Majority Floor Leader Edgar S. Cabanlas, enacted an ordinance authorizing the city accountant to charge the sum of ₱302,500 to cover payment of the scholars’ allowances for August to December 2023.
The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the Committees on Finance, Budget & Appropriation and on Laws and Rules, respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas.
