Lao cmte to look into water needs of Tablon folk

THE City Council committee on public utilities chaired by Councilor Teodulfo E. Lao, Jr. continues to look into the water needs of city residents.

The committee received a resolution from the Barangay Council of Tablon asking for assistance and allocation of funds for the installation of a potable water pipeline connection at Sitio Kisapat, Purok 7, Tablon.

According to the barangay, since the sitio is located on the hillside, residents have to draw water from a spring or get their daily water needs from the rain.

Officials cited the necessity of giving priority to this concern.

The committee will pursue discussions on the matter during its next meeting.
