Land expropriation payment to property affected by city project OKd

City Hall will soon be paying the owner of the lot affected by the road widening Barangay Macasandig.

This, as the 20th City Council during its regular session yesterday, presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted an ordinance appropriating an amount for the full payment of the claim for just compensation including documentation and registration expenses for the said lot affected by the proposed 12.00-meter widening of Tambo-Biasong Road.

The Council also authorized City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign the corresponding deed of absolute sale for the purpose.

The land expropriation payment was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on subdivision and landed estate and on laws and rules both chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas.
