Just compensation payment up for review

The City Council committee on finance, budget and appropriations chaired by Councilor Edna M. Dahino will meet on April 11, 2022 to discuss just compensation payment for a property affected by a city project.

City Mayor Oscar S. Moreno certified the availability of the amount of P1,195,411 representing full payment of the lot owned by the Batangas Land Company, Inc.. A portion of its property, consisting of 83 square meters, was affected by the existing Macahambus Road in Barangay 16.

Also up for discussion is the grant of Retirement Gift/Incentive of employees in different departments of the city government who have retired or died last year, which will be taken from the city government’s Salamat Paalam Retirement Gift/Incentive (Praise Program) under the Human Resources Management Office (HRMO), among others.

Invited to attend the meeting are representatives from Batangas Land Company, Inc., City Treasurer’s Office, City Budget Office, City Administrator’s Office, City Legal Office, City Assessor’s Office, City Engineer’s Office, City General Services Office (CGSO), City Building Official (CBO) and City Human Resources and Management Office (HRMO).
