Issuance of special patents, land registration of city lots sought
THROUGH separate ordinances, the 19th City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy authorized Mayor Oscar Moreno to file the application for the issuance of special patents with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 10 covering the properties of the city government identified as Divisoria Park.
These properties include the Amphitheater which covers an area of 1,258 square meters, the Golden Friendship Park with 1,043 square meters, El Pueblo with an area of 1,588 square meters, Kiosko Kagawasan, 1,313 square meters, and Dr. Jose Rizal Monument, 961 square meters.
Legislators likewise authorized Mayor Moreno to file the application for land registration before the Regional Trial Court of Misamis Oriental, 10th Judicial Region.
This is for the issuance of the separate orders directing the Register of Deeds of Cagayan de Oro to issue the corresponding land title on the Museo de Oro property, and directing the Land Registration Authority (LRA) to issue the corresponding decree covering the Tennis Court with an area of 5,000 square meters.
The ordinances were reviewed and endorsed by the committees on subdivision and landed estate and on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, respectively.
