Health Comm to tackle usufruct contract for Indahag public utilities

THE City Council Committee on Health, Nutrition, and Health Insurance, chaired by Councilor Maria Lourdes S. Gaane, will deliberate the proposed deed of usufruct between the City Government of Cagayan de Oro and Barangay Indahag.

The agreement grants Barangay Indahag the exclusive right to use for 25 years the city’s property in the said barangay as site of the planned Child Development Center and Super Health Center.

Under the draft contract, Barangay Indahag is prohibited from transferring its usufruct rights and must ensure the property remains free from illegal settlers. Additionally, it may improve the property at its own expense and is responsible for maintaining it clean, safe, and sanitary.
