Health cmte to review MOA with OCD-10 for healthcare services at JRBGH
THE City Council committee on health and health insurance chaired by Councilor Maria Lourdes S. Gaane will be reviewing the proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the J.R.Borja General Hospital (JRBGH) and the Office of the Civil Defense Region 10 (OCD-10).
The Office of Civil Defense expressed its desire to avail of the medical and psychosocial services of the JRBGH for its employees and officers.
In his letter to the legislative body, Mayor Oscar Moreno said the agreement is another strong collaboration between the national government and the local government, which further enhances the health services provided by the city-run hospital. He said it is a
strong manifestation of the trust and confidence of the capability of JRBGH in providing competent and quality services despite their availability in the private hospitals in the city.
Under the MOA, employees and officers of the OCD-10 who shall avail of the health care services of the city shall pay directly to the JRBGH.
