Goking warns vs substandard Christmas decors
COUNCILOR George S. Goking, chair of the City Council committee on trade and commerce, reminds businessmen to be mindful about the quality of Christmas decorations they sell, especially those that need electricity. He said it is necessary to check that these products are not substandard to avoid fire incidents.
The councilor stressed that prevention is necessary especially during the Christmas season when Christmas lights are installed everywhere.
He asked the Bureau of Fire Protection to conduct inspections of establishments to avoid fire incidents that will damage properties and lives.
