Goking wants oxygen tanks available in brgys

COUNCILOR George S. Goking, chair of the City Council committee on trade and commerce is urging dealers of oxygen tanks to allow barangay officials to purchase oxygen tanks for their COVID patient-constituents.

The councilor emphasized that well-trained barangay employees should be allowed to operate the oxygen tanks to avoid problems.

Councilor Goking pointed out that some barangays like Macasandig have established their own Emergency Operation Centers (EOC) to manage COVID-related cases. He encourages other barangays to do the same.

It is a very good idea because hospitals and quarantine facilities are full and cannot accommodate more patients, he said.

“Working together and with proper coordination, we can solve our present situation and above all with our prayers,” Goking added.
