Goking to look into implementation of Ease of Doing Business Law in Oro
CITY Councilor George S. Goking, chair of the City Council committees on trade and commerce and on ways and means, said he will look into the implementation of the Ease of Doing Business in the city.
He said that the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 (Republic Act 11032) seeks to increase efficiency by reducing processing time, eliminating red tape, and curbing bureaucratic practices. This is to encourage more micro, small, and medium enterprises, and foreign investments.
Goking pointed out that his focus is now on the economic recovery of everyone.
It can be recalled that many big and small businesses were closed due to the pandemic.
“We need to help them recover,” Goking stressed.
In line with this, Councilor Goking is reminding businessmen to follow the policies and guidelines in the renewal of business permits to avoid penalties and surcharges.
