Goking to grace PCL assembly

Councilor George S. Goking, President of the Philippine Councilors League-Region 10, is set to attend the Provincial Federation and City Chapter presidents’ assembly for the election of national and island officers at the World Trade Center, Pasay City on March 9-11, 2023. It was learned that the PCL is about to conclude the organization of the PCL structure with the upcoming election of the National and Island Officers.

The National and Island Officers will be elected only by representation and no longer at large pursuant to the duly approved amendments of the PCL Constitution particularly Article IX, Sections 10 and 11, which reads that “election of the National Officers and the National Chairman and National Vice Chairman shall be elected by the Provincial and City Chapter Presidents of 2022”, while Chapter 11 states that “the PCL Island Officers shall also be elected by the Provincial and City Chapter Presidents of their respective Islands.”

The PCL 2023 National Convention carries the theme “Commencing Digital information and Communications Technology for Nationwide Policy Development”.
