Goking thanks Sino community, business sector

COUNCILOR George S. Goking, chair of the City Council committees on trade and commerce and on ways and means, thanked the Chinese community and the business sector for supporting the city government by paying their taxes and for their social responsibility during the time of crises to their employees and the people in the city.

Goking observed as a sign of cooperation from the business sector the increasing number of businessmen applying for the renewal of their permits and new applicants.

He also cited the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act that streamlined the current systems and procedures of government services.

In connection with the Chinese New Year’s celebration, he wishes for more economic recovery, development and fast growth of their businesses.
