Goking thanks Sen. Bong Go for distributing aids to Kagay-anons

Councilor George S. Goking is very thankful to Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go for visiting the City of Cagayan de Oro last week.

The senator paid a quick visit to the City Hall Quadrangle and distributed food packs, cash assistance, and support to those who are in need.

Senator Go is known for his “AKSYON AGAD” financial assistance to the poor. It can be recalled that the City Council adopted Resolution No. 14480-2023 declaring Senator Go as an adopted son of the city. The senator is known for crafting the Malasakit Center Act, which serves as a one-stop center for Filipinos needing medical and financial assistance.

There are two Malasakit Centers in Region 10—one in Northern Mindanao Medical Center and another at JR Borja General Hospital (JRBGH) which benefited indigent patients.

Councilor Goking expressed his appreciation to the senator and thanked him for all the support to the people of the city.
