Goking thanks NTC for immediate return of mobile signal
Councilor George S. Goking, chair on the committee on trade and commerce, thanked the management of National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) for the immediate return of mobile telephone signals after the mass and procession for the feast of Black Nazarene.
The suspension of cellular phone signals adversely affects business transactions and emergency calls.
The councilor said that the loss of signal affects business transactions but everything is in order now with its immediate restoration.
The NTC ordered the temporary suspension of signal of mobile, globe at home LTE and prepaid WIFI in some parts of Cagayan de Oro City and other neighboring areas during the Black Nazarene procession yesterday, January 9, starting 4:00 AM.
Signals were immediately restored after the occasion.
For this, Councilor Goking expressed thanks to the NTC, even as he also thanked the police for maintaining peace and order during the celebration. Despite the unfavorable weather condition, still devotees showed their unconditional faith to the Black Nazarene.
