Goking supports Brigada Eskwela program

Councilor George S. Goking chair of the City Council committee on ways and means is supporting the activities of the Brigada Eskwela program, which bears the theme “Bayanihan Para Sa Paaralan”.

It may be recalled that the councilor has been actively involved in helping address problems in some schools in the city such as the water system problem at the Bulua National High School, among others.

He said Brigada Eskwela needs the collective efforts of the school and different organizations like the General Parent and Teacher’s Association (GPTA), alumni, and other sectors to work together for the common good and development of schools.

Councilor Goking added that there is a need to find ways to continue the education of children amid the ongoing pandemic.

“We know that this time we adopted the new normal system of education so we need to work hand in hand and always observe our health protocols. If possible in their learning, health protocols shall be included to remind school children. Our children today are the future builders we need to mold them the best we can for our future,” he stressed.
