Goking receives recognition for help to typhoon Odette victims

THROUGH a plaque of Recognition, the DILG-10 expressed its gratitude to Philippine Councilors League (PCL-10) chair George S. Goking for extending help to personnel of DILG Regions 8 and 13 who were victims of typhoon Odette.

Regional Director Arnel Agabe said they are grateful that the councilor provided support not only to affected families in Northern Mindanao but also to other regions in the country.

It was learned that several employees of the DILG were severely affected by the onslaught of the typhoon which hit several parts of the country last December 2021.

It may be recalled that during the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, the councilor also supported DILG-10 and extended humanitarian assistance to returning residents and stranded individuals.

Councilor Goking said he is always willing to help the best way he can.
