Goking receives Military Commendation Medal

COUNCILOR George S. Goking, chair of City Council committees on trade and commerce and on ways and mean is one of the awardees and recipients of the Military Commendation Medal (MCM) as a reservist Captain of the Philippine Air Force (PAF).

The councilor, who has received multiple awards from the Armed forces of the Philippines (AFP) said he is thankful for the recognition of his efforts for the country.

Republic Act 7077 or the Citizen Armed forces of the Philippines Reservist Act, aims to provide maximum opportunity to participate in safeguarding the security of the state and in assisting in socioeconomic development.

It is also an act providing for the organization, administration, training, maintenance, and utilization of the Citizen Armed Force of the Armed Forces of The Philippines.
