Goking, CPCC checking on prices of goods in supermarkets, groceries

COUNCILOR George S. Goking, chair of the City Council committee on trade and commerce, together with the members of the City Price Coordinating Council recently inspected groceries, supermarkets and rice warehouses in the city.

The councilor said this is to check on the supply and prices in the wake of the increasing prices of petroleum products.

Councilor Goking pointed out that in their monitoring there are grocery items and rice grain in warehouses before the increase in the prices of gasoline products was implemented, he cited.

We should also look into the situation of the consumers in these hard times as the pandemic is still around. Understanding, cooperation and unity play a big role this time,” he cited.
