Goking congratulates graduates of basic citizen military training

COUNCILOR George S. Goking, chair of the City Council committees on trade and commerce and on ways and means, graced the Closing Ceremony of the Basic Citizen Military Training (BCMT) Class 2021 in Barangay Lumbia.

The councilor, who is a Captain of the Air Force Reservist, congratulated the trainees and welcomed them to the organization.

He said he is thankful to God that the activity was a success despite the pandemic.

Goking reminded the graduates that military reservists can extend services to schools, hospitals, and people from all walks of life who are affected by calamities. The immediate response to the needs can be done by working together hand in hand whatever problem may arise, he added.

Our commitment as a reservist and our services is much needed by our community and countrymen, he stressed.

Councilor Goking urged them to work together for the health, peace, and order and economic recovery of the community.
