Goking, CDO-CPCC, DA-10 tackle supply, price of agri commodities
COUNCILOR George S. Goking, chair of the City Council committee on trade and commerce, with the City Price Coordinating Council attended a meeting with Department of Agriculture (DA-10) regional director Milo Delos Reyes and Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (DA-AMAD) head Larry Paraluman to discuss current issues on the price and supply of agricultural commodities.
Councilor Goking said the most important thing is to bring down the price of rice and other farm products as promised by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos to the people.
The immediate implementation of programs and projects of the DA is vital, he added.
According to the councilor working together and proper coordination with other government agencies will ensure its success.
CDO CPCC head Atty. Jose Edgardo Uy, Archie Alamban of the City Agriculture Office, Roxy San Juan of DTI Misamis Oriental, and Dir. Almer Masillones of DTI Mis Or also attended the meeting.
