Goking bats for more infra projects via PPP
Councilor George S. Goking, chair of the City Council committee on ways and means, said the city is considering implementing projects under the Private Public Partnership Program (P4).
Goking said the P4 will be a big help to the city’s economy and development, adding projects of the government can be done through public private partnership. He explained there are many projects that need to be looked into like modernization of the JR Borja General Hospital to accommodate more patients, modernizing traffic lights to solve heavy traffic problems and many more needed by the city for its growth and development.
These projects can be implemented through PPP, he said.
Goking, meanwhile, assured investors that City Hall is complying with the provisions of the Ease of Doing Business law, saying their transactions with the city government will not be burdensome since City Hall is strictly implementing the Anti-Red Tip Act.
