Goking bats for inventory of housing projects in Oro

“We need an inventory of all socialized housing projects in the city”.

This was manifested by Councilor George S. Goking, chair of both the City Council committees on ways and means and on trade commerce, during the meeting of the committee on subdivision and landed estate chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas.

The councilor made the proposal even as the committee deliberated the endorsement of City Administrator Atty. Hilario Roy P. Raagas on the letter request of WeeComm Magnum Properties, Inc.’s (WeeComm) relative to the request of Wee Comm Magnum Properties, Inc.’s (WeeComm) to allow them to construct in Manambulan, Davao City the socialized housing component of its housing project Intalio Estates located at Sitio Agong, Canitoan, this City.

Councilor Goking also wanted to know if the socialized housing equivalent to 15% of the total area or total cost of the main subdivision project, or 5% of that of condominium project is being implemented by developers in the city.
