Goking asks LandBank to put up ATM facility at City Hall premises
COUNCILOR George S. Goking, chair of the City Council committee on ways and means requested Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), Capistrano branch to provide ATM facility at the City Hall considering that the city government is one of their biggest clients. This, after the committee approved the request of City Mayor Rolando A. Uy for an authority to represent the city to enter into and sign the amendment Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the LBP relative to the lowering of the convenience fees effective June 1, 2022 for the selected Land Bank Link Biz Portal Facility. AVP Josephine B. Mercadal, branch head of Land Bank Velez branch, said that the city is one of the top users of their digital product facility. For her part, Councilor Ivy B. Emano made it clear that with lowering of service fees, the city will not earn revenues. Councilor Aga G. Suan said that providing an ATM facility at City Hall premises is a brilliant idea. Councilor Goking expressed thanks to LBP for lowering convenience fees from P15 to P7 of Landbank/OFBank ATM and prepaid Cards Account and to those participating Banc-net Member Bank ATM/Debit Card account from P25 to P17 and PCHC Paygate from P25 to P7 and more reduction of convenience fees.
