Gaane joins COVID-19 vaccine information drive

COUNCILOR Maria Lourdes S. Gaane, chair of the City Council committee on health and health insurance, joins the city government’s efforts to keep residents informed on the COVID-19 vaccination program.

The Gavel learned that the lady councilor, together with her team, has been conducting Information Education Campaign (IEC) in various barangays to educate residents on the importance of the vaccine.

“Isip chairman sa komite sa panglawas, importanteng mapasabot sa katawhan ang tumong ngano kita magpabakuna kay para kita maproteksyonan sa COVID-19,” she said.

She encourages everyone to keep themselves informed about the government’s vaccination program.

During her visit, Councilor Gaane expressed her thanks to the residents who took part and gave time to hear the public awareness campaign.

“Dako usab akong pagpasalamat sa mga residente sa ilang gigahin nga panahon taliwala sa ilang mga gimbuhaton,” Gaane said.

The purpose of IEC conducted by Councilor Gaane is to also increase the motivation of residents to get vaccinated.

Councilor Gaane recently visited barangays Puntod, Lapasan, Macasandig, and Macabalan.
