Gaane congratulates CHO for new lab, x-ray rooms, Philhealth’s eKonsulta

COUNCILOR Maria Lourdes S. Gaane, chair of the City Council committee on health and health insurance, is congratulating the City Health Office (CHO) for the new laboratory and X-Ray rooms and the launching of PhilHealth Konsulta (Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama).

The CHO held the blessing and ribbon-cutting program on Friday, which was attended by City Mayor Rolando A. Uy, and members of the 20th City Council headed by City Vice Mayor Jocelyn B. Rodriguez.

During the program, Councilor Gaane said this is a dream come true of the CHO to establish and improve the laboratory and x-ray rooms.

“Ato gyung i-congratulate ang CHO kay ang City Council with the support of the City Health Officer Dr. Fe Bongcas nga ang atong CHO matagaan gyud og laboratory ug xray machine,” she stressed.

Councilor Gaane also acknowledged the efforts of Dr. Rachel Dilla of CHO, the City Health Insurance Office (CHIO) and of J.R.Borja General Hospital (JRBGH), and PhilHealth which, according to Councilor Gaane, has been a partner of the city for 15 years.

“Ang Philhealth kung wala ni sila wala ko’y mahimo sa health system,” she said.

Gaane assured Philhealth of the support and help of the 20th City Council for future programs in line with the health system of the city.

“Basta health system na gani ang higsgotan naa gyud kanunay ang suporta sa City Council,” she said.

“This is another milestone of the Cagayan de Oro. Without the support of each one of us dili ni mahitabo,” Gaane concluded.
