Foundation donates five units of motorcycle with sidecar for Oro’s frontliners

IN addressing the challenges of the pandemic, the Jesus V. del Rosario Foundation Incorporated donated five units of Baja Re Compact 4S F (motorcycle with sidecar) to the city government which are intended to be used by the city’s frontliners in their COVID-19 related response.

Through an ordinance, the 19th City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy authorized the City Mayor Oscar Moreno to enter into and sign the Deed of Donation and Acceptance (DODA) with the foundation for the purpose.

In his letter to the City Council, Mayor Moreno said the donation strengthens the relationship between the city and the private sector by providing the needed vehicles in serving the needs of the City Isolation Units (CIUs) and Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities (TTMF).

With this, legislators expressed gratitude to the foundation for the donation.
