For successful implementation of INREMP, DENR donates motor vehicles, computer set to city
RECOGNIZING the contribution of the local government of Cagayan de Oro to the successful implementation of the Integrated Natural Resources and Environment Management Project (INREMP) in the city, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is donating two motor vehicles and a computer set to the city.
The 19th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy this week authorized Mayor Oscar S. Moreno to enter into and sign the Deed of Donation and Acceptance (DODA) with the DENR-Region X for the purpose.
In his endorsement, Mayor Moreno said the project is nearing completion and the DODA is a manifestation of the donor’s act of gratitude and liberality for the successful implementation of INREMP in the local government.
The ordinance was endorsed by the committees on environment and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Enrico Salcedo and Ian Mark Nacaya, respectively.
