Focus also on economic recovery – Goking

COUNCILOR George S. Goking, chair of the City Council committee on trade and commerce, said focusing on economic recovery for next year is necessary amid the pandemic.

The councilor said he is hoping that businesses will stabilize by 2022.

The cooperation of the people to observe health protocols is one of the best solutions, he stressed.

“We will not only focus on health problems but also on economic recovery because how will people survive without food on the table,” Councilor Goking added.

He is asking the business sector to have more patience at this time.

“Most of all our united prayers for us to be strong and to survive,” he said.

We need to work together and plan for balanced health and economic survival, he cited.
