Fisheries Comm to review GAMA’s foreshore lease application

THE City Council Committee on Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, chaired by Councilor Christian Rustico M. Achas, will have its meeting today at the City Council session hall.

The committee will be discussing the proposed resolution interposing no objection to the Foreshore Lease Application of the GAMA Foods Corporation, covering a parcel of land with an area of 3,987 square meters located at Purok 10, Sitio Baloy, Barangay Tablon.

Also in its agenda is the presentation of the report of the City Engineer on the structural stability of Community Fish Landing Center (CFLC) Fishing Port in Barangay Bonbon.

The committee will also hear the report of the Office of the City Agriculturist on the project of DITO Telecommunity Corporation for the coral reef restoration in the Marine Protected Area (MPA) in Bonbon.

Invited to attend the meeting are representatives from GAMA Foods Corporation, Office of the City Administrator, City Legal Office, CLENRO, CEO, CPDO, DENR-10, Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), DPWH-10, City Agriculture and Productivity Office, Punong Barangay of Bonbon, and DITO Telecommunity Corporation.
