Finance cmte to act on payment of benefits of retiring personnel

THE City Council committee on finance, budget and appropriations chaired by Councilor Yan Lam S. Lim will tackle various requests for payment of salary differential and terminal leave benefits of some personnel of different offices of the city government.

This include the payment for salary differential and other benefits for the period January 1-10, 2022 of a personnel of the City Health Office (CHO) who was promoted last year, and the 3-month salary differential of a personnel of the JR Borja General Hospital for the period January 1 to February 28, 2022.

Said employees will compulsorily retire on October 10, 2022, with a one-grade salary hike pursuant to Section 30, RA 7305 of the Magna Carta for Public Health Workers.

The committee on health chaired by Councilor Maria Lourdes S. Gaane endorsed the approval of the requests. (SP/JAOclarit)
