Emano elected member of two more committees

COUNCILOR Yevonna Yacine B. Emano is now a member of the City Council committees on education and on sister city relations.

This, after the City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Jocelyn “Bebot” Rodriguez adopted resolutions to this effect, amending the composition of its standing committees.

Councilor Emano is a member of the committee on urban poor, and on women and family relations.

The amended Internal Rules of Procedure of the 20th City Council authorizes chairmen of the committees to increase their membership subject to confirmation by the legislative body.

Vice Mayor Rodriguez expressed her gratitude to the majority bloc for electing the minority to be members of different standing committees.
