Derby in Lumbia gets council nod
Backyard rooster enthusiasts now have the green light to hold a derby at the Lumbia Octagon Sports Arena (LOSA) on May 22.
This after the 20th City Council, presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, passed an ordinance granting permission to LOSA president Mr. Rodrigo Go to hold the event.
Councilor Roger G. Abaday, chair of the SP Committee on Games and Amusement, expressed his hope for the organizers to follow strictly all the requirements and provisions of law set by the city administration to ensure that the event runs smoothly.
The ordinance was sponsored by the Committees on Games and Amusement and on Laws and Rules, chaired by Councilor Abaday and Councilor Edgar Cabanlas, respectively.
