Dads thank, commend DILG for seminar on parliamentary procedures, effective legislation

THROUGH a resolution, the 20th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Jocelyn “Bebot” Rodriguez expressed its gratitude and commendation to the Department of the Interior and Local Government for conducting a seminar on parliamentary procedures and the legislative process.

The seminar, which was held at the Luxe Hotel last week, was attended by the majority and minority bloc and some staff.

Speakers during the two-day training were DILG-10 Director Arnel M. Agabe, DILG-City Director Jane J. Docallos, Atty. Benedicto M. Gonzales Jr. and Atty. Diana R. Mari.

It may be recalled that during its third regular session, the City Council adopted a resolution requesting the DILG to conduct such seminar for all its members.

On her Facebook post, Vice Mayor Rodriguez said it was an opportunity for her and council members to recalibrate their technical knowledge on the subject matters.
