Dads OK Oro’s supplemental AIP for 2021
THE implementation of more projects is in the offing.
Through a resolution, the 19th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy approved Cagayan de Oro’s Supplemental Annual Investment Program (SAIP) No. 1 for calendar year 2021.
The legislation was endorsed by the committee on finance, budget and appropriation chaired by Councilor Edna “Inday” Dahino noting the resolution of the City Development Council (CDC) as submitted by Mayor Oscar S. Moreno.
The CDC approved the SAIP in line with R.A. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, which mandates local government units to formulate their Annual Investment Program emulating development programs, projects and activities.
According to the CDC, the programs are supportive, consistent, and strategically contributory to the attainment of the administration’s Eight-Point Development Agenda known as PRIMEHAT.
The adjustments to the city’s 2021 AIP are consistent with national and regional investment programming policies, as cited in the CDC resolution.
The approval of the SAIP was also endorsed by the committee on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya.
