Dads OK DOCA with contractor, NHA for resettlement site mobilization program

THROUGH an ordinance, the 19 h City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy authorized City Mayor Oscar Moreno to enter into and sign the Deed of Conveyance and Acceptance (DOCA) with the Caliber Industrial Sales Corporation, as contractor, covering the turnover of one unit Ford ranger DBL pickup to the city government as part of the mobilization program of the latter under the second amendment of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the city and the contractor.

The vehicle will be used for the development of the Cagayan de Oro Resettlement Phase 2 located in Calaanan, Barangay Canitoan.

The legislative body likewise authorized Mayor Moreno to sign the DOCA with the National Housing Authority (NHA-10) for the turnover of the vehicle for its mobilization program.

In his letter to the City Council, Mayor Moreno said the vehicle was procured by the NHA pursuant to the collaboration of the parties in the implementation of the city’s resettlement project.

He said this covered by the MOA between the city and NHA, including its first and second amendments. The second amendment specified a mobilization program for a service vehicle.

The ordinances were reviewed and endorsed by the committees on ways and means, and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors George S. Goking and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, respectively.
