Dads OK barangay budgets
THE 19th City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Rainer Joaquin V. Uy unanimously adopted separate resolutions returning to two barangays in the city their ordinances covering their Annual and Supplemental Budgets for CY 2022 and 2021 respectively with the information that both are operative in their entirety.
Out from its estimated income of P3,299,684, Barangay 37 has allocated P413,315 representing its 20% development fund in accordance with Sec. 287 of the Local Government Code as implemented by DBM-DILG Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2011-Series of 2012 dated April 13, 2011.
Meanwhile, an allocation of P52,699 was reserved by Barangay 30 for declogging of canals at Rivera and Ebarle streets. This shall be taken from its estimated income of P355,657.
The remaining allocations of both barangays would be for personal services, SK Fund, Productivity Enhancement Incentives (PEI) and MOOE, among others.
The legislations were both reviewed and endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, respectively.
