Dads approved SK Annual Budget for CY 2023

Through a resolution, the 20th City Council, in its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, returned as operative the resolution to Barangay No. 28 its Sangguniang Kabataan Annual Budget for CY 2023 with an estimated income of P338,820.00.

The said fund was taken from the 10% Development Fund of the Barangay in accordance with the provisions of RA 10742, otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, to be used to implement programs and projects for the youth of the barangay.

As part of the priorities in that budget, the barangay allocated programs for proper education concerning on health, environmental protection, good governance, sports development, global mobility, Linggo Ng Kabataan, repairs and maintenance for ICT and Disaster Response and Rescue equipment, and other programs that encourage the achievement of a better quality of life for the youth in the said barangay.

The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on Sports and Youth Development and on Laws and Rules, chaired by Councilors John Michael Seno and Edgar S. Cabanlas, respectively.
