Dads approve SB 2 for CY 2023

The 20th City Council, on its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Jocelyn B. Rodriguez, approved the Supplemental Budget No. 2 of the General Fund for CY 2023 with an estimated income of P76,020,801.

Of the amount, P63,914,801 is allotted for Economic Services Sector, and P43,589,103 for the Cagayan de Oro City Hospital-Lumbia (Infirmary Facility).

The rest of the budget are intended for Irrigation Development Program (Agricultural Productivity Operations Office); Community Based Ecological Solid Waste Management Services (City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office); and Higalaay Festival (City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office).

The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on finance, budget and appropriations and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas.
