Construction of satellite Oro Rescue Office in Agusan in the offing

A NEW Oro Rescue office will be constructed in Barangay Agusan. This, as the 20th City Council headed by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez is set to include in its regular session this afternoon the approval of the Supplemental Budget.


The proposed satellite office is one of the priority projects of the City Government under the five-percent calamity fund of the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office–Oro Rescue 911 which will be included in the Supplemental Budget No. 2 of the Special Account: Local Economic Enterprises for 2023 with an estimated income of P70,342,401.00.

From the amount, the city will allocate P7.3 million for the construction of the said satellite office. Also included in the SB is the construction of wastewater facilities at Cogon Market worth P32 million and at Carmen Market amounting to P27 million.


Construction of drainage along Fernando Pacana Street towards Amin Drain at Barangay Kauswagan and construction of stage at Bulao Elementary School in Barangay Bulua with a total amount of P6.3 million are also included in the Supplemental Budget.
