Construction of domed stadium in Bugo pushed


THE request of the Barangay Council of Bugo for the construction of the proposed domed stadium project of the barangay was favorably endorsed by the City Council Committee on Subdivision and Landed Estate chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas.



Thus, following the resolution passed by the Reyes Village Subdivision Homeowner’s Association, Inc. (RVSHOAI) supporting the request of the barangay council.


The proposed project will be constructed in front of the Bugo Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Church that will cater to the sports, recreational and other needs of Bugo residents.


During the recent meeting, a representative of RVSHOAI said the proposed domed stadium is also set to be a multi-purpose facility for various activities such as church activities and other community gatherings.


The proposed project will be funded by the city government and favorably recommended by the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD).


With this, Councilors Roger Abaday, Aga Suan, and Joey Abbu moved for the approval of the request and referred it to the Committee on Laws and Rules also chaired by Councilor Cabanlas for appropriate action.
