Committee on Planning and Development takes on more challenges
THE City Council committee on planning and development takes on more challenges as it now includes much-needed research and innovation.
The City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted a resolution amending Section 13 of Resolution No. 13322-2019, otherwise known as the 19th City Council House Rules, so as to change the name of the committee to the committee on planning, research and innovation.
Chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya, the committee is tasked to study, investigate and report on all matters and measures pertaining to city planning, zoning, land classification, land use and management, urban community development.
It also reviews and recommends actions on the Annual Investment Program (AIP), Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP), City Development Plan (CDP), Executive Legislative Agenda (ELA) and other short- and medium-term plans of the city.
