City Treasurer to open ATM account with LandBank

ON Monday’s regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Jocelyn B. Rodriguez, the 20th City Council enacted an ordinance authorizing Ms. Jasmin T. Maagad, City Treasurer, to open a separate bank account with the Land Bank of the Philippines-Capistrano branch to be utilized solely for the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Payroll Facility for the permanent, contractual, casual and job order personnel of the City Government of Cagayan de Oro.

This is pursuant to Ordinance No. 14516-2023 enacted during the 35th regular session last April 24, 2023, which authorized City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to enter into and sign the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on ATM Payroll Facility with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) covering the implementation of the ATM Payroll Facility for permanent, contractual, casual and job order personnel of the City Government of Cagayan de Oro.

The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on finance, budget and appropriations and on laws and rules chaired respectively by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas.
