City to ink MOA with Klarex Ville II Ramon Del Puerto HOA, developer for 4PH program

FOR the benefit of the less privileged and homeless Kagay-anons, the city government of Cagayan de Oro will be collaborating with the Klarex Ville II Ramon Del Puerto Residences Homeowners Association, Inc. (HOA), and the Edison Development & Construction (contractor/developer) for the implementation of the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program of the national government.

During the regular session of the 20th City Council presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, legislators enacted an ordinance authorizing City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to enter into and sign the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the parties for the recognition and endorsement of the said HOA and contractor to the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) concerning the implementation of the program.

In his letter to the City Council, Mayor Uy said that the MOA is in view of the implementation of the 4PH program as well as the Memorandum of Understanding between the city and the DHSUD for the identification of suitable land for the program.

It also supports the mobilization and initiatives of associations of informal settler families.
