City to file special patents with DENR for properties identified as institutional sites

THE city government of Cagayan de Oro will be filing application for the issuance of the special patents of the city’s land properties with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 10.

The application covers the specified properties of the city identified as institutional sites including the lots in Barangay Indahag and Elementary School in Barangay Bayanga. Of the total lot area, Cadastral Lot No. 2788 in Indahag covers 15,669 square meters, Cadastral Lot No. 2787 with 5,379 square meters, while the city’s property in Barangay Bayanga has an area of 7,445 square meters.

With this, the legislators, during its 56th regular session presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted an ordinance authorizing City Mayor Rolando A. Uy representing the city government to file the said application.

The ordinance was sponsored by the City Council Committees on Subdivision and Landed Estate and on Laws and Rules both chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas.
